“I am a Woman, A Peaceful Woman in the Garden”
Will be taking place on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 10AM to 1PM in Houston, Texas at Bayou Bend Collection & Garden. This will be the third installment of the I am a…series – come join us for a peaceful walk in a beautiful garden on a lovely morning! Get your mind off of the stressful week you just ended and embrace a peaceful moment.

“I am a Woman of Extraordinary Measures”
Took place on Saturday, March 31, 2012 in Houston, Texas the second event of the I am a…series. The goal of this event was to encourage and tap into that power within us as Women of Extraordinary Measures.
The event opened up with a poem entitled,
“A Woman of Extraordinary Measures”
I am a woman…
… A woman of extraordinary measures,
I can’t say I am like others who ascribe to normal pleasures,
I wake up early and have plans for my day,
I don’t just take value in what everyone my say,
I am motivated to exceed the norm and break the status quo,
I reminisce on all the greatness and power inside me with a confident glow,
I reach out to others to share the wealth in wisdom & knowledge,
I take pride in my hard work and image because I am well polished,
I have learned life is more than what you can stack in the bank,
Yet, what you can give back and sacrifice and I am being quite frank,
I am a woman…
A woman of extraordinary measures,
I can’t say I am like others who ascribe to normal pleasures,
I hold a power that will impact the world,
I have a passion and commitment shift my circle of influence in a massive swirl,
I am the epitome of strength, courage and vision,
Hence, I have made my decision,
I agree, I was beautifully and wonderfully made,
Even with my imperfections the goodness in my heart allows that to fade,
I am a woman of extraordinary measures,
And oh yes, I am quite clever,
God created me to extraordinary and full of wonderful treasures.

During the event, we chatted about where we are in our lives and our personal goals. Then we touched on topics of our heart’s desires, purpose on Earth and each of our beautifully unique characters. All of us that attended were inspired and empowered to challenge ourselves to be Women of Extraordinary Measures! The first event occurred on Saturday, July 2nd, 2011 in Houston, Texas. We had wonderful fellowship, ate some good cooking & talked about who we were as women – we are nurturers! Through God’s providence there were a lot of good connections made along with encouragement & inspiration. Thank you to all the Beautiful Ladies who attended! Remember to pour back into yourself!
