In Her Own Words

“No one is perfect; we all have something that is not that pretty about us.  The following thought to that is this, what are you going to do about it?  Pray for God to give you strength to face it, deal with it and deliver you from it.  We all have something that rests in us that is not pleasing in God’s sight and it’s up to us to work on it.  Good thing we have a loving, patient, merciful God just waiting for us to face it, deal with it and He can deliver us from it.”
What are the things about you that are imperfect?  Is it insecurity, doubt, lack of faith, attitude, anger or fear?  Did you know we all have something that is not pretty about us?  What are you going to do about it?  Are you praying to God for him strengthen you to face it, deal with it and deliver you from it?  You are aware we all have something that needs to be worked on inside us?  Did you know God will help us work on these things?  Are you aware Our God is loving, patient and merciful?

  1. Love it! Hebrews 12:1 says…. 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (NLT) Along with prayer we must study his Word and get an understanding so that we are equipped to face those weaknesses in our life.
